Getting to the Majestic Waterfall

Go through customs and ensure you have all the necessary stamps on your passport before heading to the HSBC Rain Vortex at Changi Airport. Regardless of which terminal you arrive at, whether it’s Terminal 1 or you’re transferring from Terminals 2, 3, or 4, exiting the transit area is the first step. Once you’ve done that, go to the Jewel Changi Airport, the bustling 10-story shopping mall of Singapore Changi Airport, where you’ll find the breathtaking Rain Vortex Waterfall waiting to mesmerize you.

Direct Access from Terminal 1

Touchdown at Terminal 1? You’ve hit the jackpot. Jewel Changi Airport is practically at your doorstep, directly connected to Terminal 1 Arrival Hall. Slip through customs and let the signs escort you to the encounter with the majestic waterfall. Stand before it, all 40 meters of cascading glory, and you’ll understand why it’s not just a waterfall—it’s a masterpiece.

Seamless Connection from Terminals 2 & 3

If you land at Terminal 2 or 3, you can easily reach the Rain Vortex and enjoy its enchanting beauty with a stroll. Look out for the clear signs that point you to the Jewel.

When arriving at Terminal 2, you can reach the Jewel with a calm 5 to 10-minute walk. Head towards the Departure Hall on level 2, move towards row 1, and soon find the link bridge that will take you to level 3 of Jewel.

From Terminal 3, the process is the same – just a simple 5- 10 minute walk. Find your way to level 2 in the Departure Hall near row 11, and you’ll come across another link bridge leading you directly to level 3 of Jewel.

Both terminals’ link bridges are near the access to Changi Airport MRT station. Following the MRT sign will also lead you to the link bridge.

Easy Transfer from Terminal 4

If you’re landing at the smaller Terminal 4 further away, worry not; the journey to the Rain Vortex is smooth and cost-free. Hop onto the complimentary shuttle bus that awaits at the Terminal 4 Arrival Lounge. It’ll zip you straight to Jewel/Terminal 1, dropping you opposite Jewel’s Level 2 Drop-off point. These direct shuttles run between 6 AM and midnight every day, so you can nearly always catch a ride at your convenience. If you arrive in those quiet hours between 1 AM and 6 AM, the loop bus service has got you covered, taking a roundabout from Terminal 4 to Terminal 3 and Terminal 1 before circling back.

Many people start scrambling for seats as early as 9:50. Sometimes, due to delays caused by live performances, there are no exact hourly updates.

There are a few ways to enjoy this attraction. First, you can walk towards the Jewels from any terminal. Once you reached it, you can go to different levels to enjoy the view.
Second, take the skytrain between T3 and T2 to enjoy it from the train pov.
Third, you can go to a restaurant by the Jewels and enjoy the view.

I recommend going early as they will do crowd control around noon time and block off people from entering.

Take the skytrain between T2 and T3 (inside the airport restricted area) and you will get this stunning view. There are two skytrains between T2 and T3, remember to take the one that’s near T1

Of all the international airports in the world, the one with the best facilities and the most convenient for travel is Singapore Changi International Airport. My mouth dropped open when I first visited. This airport has a waterfall, gardens, duty-free shops, restaurants, and game rooms, but it has everything. To experience the Jurassic Park Garden Bridge, you have to go to the top floor and buy a ticket. The interior is cool. It's the perfect place for all foreign travelers to rest and go. For reference, I visited Singapore as a stopover. If you go into the city, you can do various trips.

This is located on L1 of T2. If you take the skytrain from T3 to T2, just keep walking and you will pass some shops and check-in counters and then this will be on your left hand side.

You can sit nearby and wait for a bit for the display to change. Time for us spent here was about 5-10 minutes.
